MCW Starz is a nonprofit basketball program offering AAU basketball, coaches who mentor, college recruitment, camps, clinics and community service opportunities for youth. MCW Starz currently has 11 youth girls teams and two boys team ranging from grades 4th-12th as well as a Special Olympics team in partnership with Mass Special Olympics. As Jr. NBA partners, MCW Starz encourages and supports youth basketball participation to improve the overall youth basketball experience. The overview and philosophy aims to develop a lifelong passion for the game of basketball by teaching them the fundamentals of the sport while instilling core values including teamwork, respect and sportsmanship. MCW Starz uses basketball to teach life skills and introduce life long exercise to youth. In 2018 players were offered yoga and in 2019 pilates and meditation will be offered as well. Youth sports not only play an important role in exercise, but promotes mental and psychological advances as well.

Please consider supporting the youth who need financial assistance for an opportunity to play. In just three years, MCW Starz has used basketball to successfully place over 35 players into college. Players who can't afford college are using basketball as a vehicle to get to college. Please visit our website www.mcwstarz.com for more information. Your contributions will directly support the youth in our program.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you there!
